FOUNDERS
VLADIMIR GARNICA
Guitar player, composer and y Mexican producer. Latin-american folklore and world music lover. He is founder and producer of the international band "Los de Abajo", touring more than 20 years around the 4 continents, performing at international festivals, including Zeigest at Budapest, Glastonbury at England, the Womad editions at Singapore, Spain and England (festival organized by Peter Gabriel). The band got the BBC Radio 3 Award at the World Music Awards for being the better band in America. International artists like David Byrne, Macaco and Peter Gabriel featured as producers for "Los de Abajo" albums.
As a musical producer he has released more than 10 world music, Mexican folk and classical music albums, including: “Tribute to Rosa Guraieb” (FONCA), “Cybertropic Chilango Power” (BBC World Music Awards winner), “LDA vs The Lunatics” (Co-production with Peter Gabriel). He has produced music for movies, theatre and tv, including “Las viudas del carbón” (Mexican feature film) and Sound Design for Channel 21.
YAZMIN MACHAEN "YAZ FLOW"
Percussionist, lyricist, composer, rapper and Mexican singer. She comes from a family with a musical tradition, her grandfather was a multi-instrumentalist musician, so she was involved into Mexican musical folklore since she was a little girl. Her lyricist path began when she was very young; she writes from the bottom of her being as a mother, a daughter, a woman, a lover and an activist.
Her travels through Colombia, Cuba, Veracruz, España, California and Nueva York have nurtured her soul because she was committed to learn from the musical cultures that she founds inspiring, manifesting it in her drum, her lyrics, her singing and her rap.
She has performed at many festival around Mexico with World Music Karmantra project; she was part of the newyorker magician Belinda Sinclaire, performing at Stockholm, Sweden and New York; she also has musicalized theatre and circus shows.

Tino Valentin (Saxophone and Flute)
Of Oaxacan origin influenced by the traditional music of the state of Oaxaca, Jazz, Latin American and world music. He began his professional studies at the CECAM in the Mixe mountains of Oaxaca where he studied conducting and training of philharmonic bands, continued his studies at the Higher School of Music in Mexico City focused on the area of Jazz, and then embarked on a trip to different countries such as Cuba, Peru, Puerto Rico, Colombia, Canada and the USA where he took classes with different teachers such as Adrián Terrazas, Justo Almario, Kamasi Washington, Hilario Dominguez, Antonio Sanchez, among others. He has been part of different salsa, jazz fusion and world music orchestras. Composer and arranger currently of repertoire of philharmonic bands for different communities in Oaxaca and focused on the protection and recovery of the repertoire of indigenous peoples in this same state. He collaborated as a saxophonist in the recording of the great song “La Chipotle” by Sazón de María.
